Collection: Deadstock
Deadstock fabrics are overstocked and surplus fabrics result from the fast fashion industry's overproduction. It can be caused by a variety of mistakes and misjudgments in textile mills and garment factories, such as printing errors, minor fabric damage, overestimating the amount of fabric needed, fabric dyed the wrong colour, and surplus fabric that can't be used or sold, such as scraps from cutting room floors so that those deadstock fabrics don't end up in landfills.
Lusion uses them to make some lovely pieces because there is sometimes just enough fabric to manufacture one or two pieces of clothing, this results in unique and imaginative creations.
